This website is hosted and maintained by the Active Transportation Alliance, Chicagoland’s voice for better biking, walking and transit. We are both a member based advocacy organization and a premier consultancy. Our staff includes specialists who work with communities throughout the region to develop plans, policies, and education programs based on national best practices.
The creation of this website was made possible with funding from the Department of Health and Human Services: Communities Putting Prevention to Work (CPPW) grant. CPPW is a joint project between the Cook County Department of Public Health and the Public Health Institute of Metropolitan Chicago.
